In a move which is the first of its kind in Australia, Wego.com and dgm Australia have entered into a partnership that gives the travel industry and the broader B2C websites access to Wego’s extensive travel metasearch engine on their own websites.
The affiliation allows every travel company in Australia to add Wego’s travel comparison engine to their own site and provide their customers access to directly compare the prices of hundreds of travel suppliers, airlines and property listings worldwide.
“Working with dgm Australia allows Wego to scale our affiliate offerings to a much wider audience whilst reducing the complexity, administration and resourcing of the program,”
confirmed Dean Wicks, General Manager AU & Director of Airline Relations for Wego.
Dgm Australia will distribute the affiliate program which will earn affiliates 50 percent of generated revenue from Wego.com.
“It’s the first time that Australian travel companies are able to provide a comprehensive metasearch facility in a shared revenue model for flights, hotels, packages and activities and we’re very excited about it,”
added Wicks.
A wide range of display ads, dynamic creative, feeds and search widgets are available for websites to select from. Fully flexible application programming (API) interfaces are available for large partners to suit their needs. Claire Anstee, Commercial Director of dgm Australia said,
