Planning a trip still looks the same for most of us. A dozen browser tabs. A spreadsheet nobody wants to admit to. Two or three weekends lost to comparing dates, airlines and hotels before a single thing is booked.
That is about to change, and Wego is making sure it changes for the better.
Starting today, your personal AI assistant can search Wego’s live flight fares and hotel rates directly, compare them against what matters to you, and show you the trade-offs before you book.
Travel planning that starts with you
Millions of people already use an AI assistant every day, for work, for study, for the small logistics of family life.
These assistants are getting better at taking your preferences into account: your schedule, your budget, the fact that you refuse to fly overnight with young children.
What they have lacked is the thing that makes travel planning hard. Real fares, real availability, right now. An assistant can tell you the best month to visit Istanbul.
It could not tell you what a flight there costs this Thursday, whether the fare is refundable, or how much a stopover saves you against the hours it costs.
Now it can. With Wego connected, you can ask your assistant the kind of questions a search box was never built to answer:
“Find me flights from Riyadh to London in the first two weeks of December. No red-eyes on the way out. We’re travelling with two kids.”
“How much cheaper is it if I fly a week later? Show me the difference for each date.”
“Is the stopover in Doha worth it, or should I pay more for the direct flight?”
“What does it cost to keep my flight and hotel refundable, in case plans change?”
Your assistant does the searching, the comparing and the maths. You get one clear picture of your options, and when you are ready, a link straight to Wego to book.
“The traveller of the future will bring their own assistant. It will already know their preferences, their family’s logistics and their calendar. What it won’t know is what a flight costs today. We are making sure that when it goes looking for that answer, Wego is where it finds it.”

Building for how people will travel next
Wego has spent more than a decade making it simpler to find and book travel across the Middle East, Asia and beyond.
This year alone we became the first platform in the world to issue Umrah eVisas directly online and one of the first major travel platforms in our markets to accept cryptocurrency payments.
Opening Wego to personal AI assistants is the next step in that same direction. Travellers are beginning to bring personal AI assistants into their holiday planning, and Wego intends to lead that shift rather than follow it.
“Every leap in travel technology has been about removing work from the traveller. Online booking removed the travel agent’s desk. Metasearch removed the ten separate airline websites. Personal assistants will remove the need for spreadsheets and let travellers describe the trip they want in their own words.”
Chu Yeow, Chief Technology Officer, Wego
Available today as a Research Preview
Wego’s AI assistant integration is live now as a Research Preview.
One line of setup connects Wego to agents like Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes, and Grok Bot, so it can plan around what your agent already knows about you.
Alternatively, just turn Wego on through the Claude connector or the ChatGPT plugin.
Either way, booking still happens on Wego, on your terms.
This is an early release and we expect to learn a great deal from the people who try it first.
Try it, and your next trip may just begin with a conversation instead of a spreadsheet.
