The new Wego Deals site, available at www.wego.com/deals, features a Pinterest inspired design that takes a photo driven approach to showcasing travel deals on an endlessly refreshing page.
Consumers who want to receive advance notice of new travel deals can sign up for a free newsletter delivered weekly as part of a priority service to Wego users in selected countries.
Wego’s professional editors led by travel industry veteran and Wego CMO, Dean Wicks, uncover the best and more unusual deals from multiple partners such as online travel agents Expedia, Viva! Deals are sourced from all markets and for all destinations globally. Deals are categorised by product type, (eg, flight, hotel, package, cruise, etc), budget, destination as well as themes such as beach, escape, weekend, romantic and boutique.
Wego Deals was originally launched as a fully automated travel deals aggregation service, like Google News, but focused on surfacing the best offers for flights, hotels, package tours, cruises and more. Travel industry experts working as editors were then added to the mix, to manually scour the internet looking for the best travel deals.
